Topology

TOPOLOGY ko hum Network ka design bhi keh sakte hai. Kisi network mai sabhi devices ek dusre ke sath kaise connected hote hai. Isi ko Topology kaha jata hai

Jaise maan lijiye ek Network mai 5 Computer hai or veh ek dusre ke sath communication , file sharing jaise kaam karte ha.i Yeh kaam kis way mai karte hai usi kaam ko Topology kaha jata hai.

Assan language mai kahe to Computers ki Connectivity ke way ko Topology kaha jata hai. Kisi network mai sabhi devices communication karne ke liye kisi structure ya layout ka use karte hai. Network mai computers, cables ka arrangement kis tarike se karna hai usi ko Network Topology kehte hai.

Two Types of Topology 

Physical Topology

Physical Topology mai kisi bhi Network ka Physical Structure kya hai isko define kiya jata hai

 Logical Topology

Kisi bhi Network mai ek Device se dusri Device tak Data kaise Transfer hota hai is bat ka define Logical mai kiya jata hai

Logical Topology alag alag tarh ki hoti hai chaliye unke bare mai jante hai

BUS TOPOLOGY

Bus Topology mai sabhi computers ko connect karne ke liye backbone ka use kiya jata hai. Backbone ko Trunk bhi kaha ja sakta hai.

Sabhi devices backbone ke through ek dusre se connect hote hai. Isme T connectors ka use kiya jata hai. Backbone cable ke dono last points par terminatores lgaye gye hote hai.

Aaj ke time mai iska use bahut hu kam ho gya hai. Coaxial cable ke through iska use kiya jata tha. Jise thicknet or thinnet jise 10 base-2 ya 10 base-5 bhi kaha jata tha.

Topology

Advantage

  • Iska use karna bahut hi asan hota hai
  • Isko install karne ke liye jada kharcha bhi nahi kiya jata tha. Kyoki Lan Card , T connectors or cable ki hi jarurt thi
  • Isme kisi parkar ke Special Network Device ki jarurt nahi hoti thi
  • yeh kisi chote Network ko manage karne ke liye achi mani jati thi

Disadvantage

  • Agar ik jgh se cable disconnect ho jati hai tab pura Network kaam karna band ho jata tha.
  • Ise troubleshoot karna bhi mushkil hota tha.
  • Agar apko apke Network mai kisi naye computer ko add karna hota tha. Tab utne time ke liye apka Network kaam karna band kar deta tha. 
  • Isme cable ek limited strength tak hi data ko transfer kar sakti thi.

RING TOPOLOGY

Ring Topology mai sabhi devices ek dusre se circular format mai connect hote hai. FDDI, SONET or TOKEN RING mai Ring Topology ka use kiya jata hai. 

Token Ring mai ek centralized device ka use kiya jata tha. Jise multi-station access unit kehte the. Isme sabhi devices par data same speed ke sath transfer sath hi computers ko yeh bhi decide karna hota hai.

Veh data usi ke liye hai ya nahi. Jis computer ke liye data ko bheja jata hai. Veh use accept kar leta hai or baki computers data ko drop kar dete hai

Topology

Advantage

  • Inhe install karna asan hota tha.
  • Isme agar cable kharb hoti thi tab us khrabi ka pata lgana asan hota hai or data ko dusri trf se bheja ja sakta tha
  • Yeh network apna kaam achi trh se karta tha. Kyoki isme kisi tarh ka host ya controlling computer nahi hote the.

Disadvantage

  • Agar is network mai kisi naye computer ko add karna hota tha. Tab utne time ke liye Network kaam nahi karta tha.
  • Is network ki speed lage hue computers par depend hoti thi. Jitne kam computers is network mai hote hai speed utni hi jada hoti thi.

STAR TOPOLOGY

Aaj ke time mai sabse jada use ki jane vali Star Topology mani jati hai. Isme sabhi devices ek Networking device ke sath connect hote hai.

Yeh switch ya hub ho sakta hai sabhi devices se switch ya hub tak ek cable ke through connect kiya jata hai. Usi networking device ke through ek computer kisi dusre computer ke sath communicate kar pata hai.

Advantage

  • Is network mai agar kisi naye computer ko add karna hota hai tab asani se add kiya ja sakta hai.
  • Agar kisi computer ki cable kharb ho jati hai tab usi cable ko badla jata hai or baki kisi computer par koi effect nahi padta hai.
  • Is network mai agar kisi bhi tarh ki problem ati hai tab veh asani se mil jati hai.

Disadvantage

  • Agar switch ya hub kharb ho jata hai tab pura network kaam karna band kar deta hai.
  • Sabhi computers ko switch ya hub se connect karne ke liye alag alag cables ki jrurt hoti hai. Isliye cables jada use ki jati hai.

MESH TOPOLOGY

Isme sabhi devices ek dusre se connected hote hai. Jadatar iska use WAN Network mai kiya jata hai. Isme sabhi devices ko ik dusre ke sath connect karne ke liye bahut sari wires ki jrurt hoti hai .

Isme apko FULL MESH or PARTIAL MESH dekhne ko mil jayga. FULL MESH mai sabhi devices ek dusre ke sath connect hote hai.

PARTIAL MESH mai sabhi devices ek dusre ke sath connect nhi kiye jate hai. Kuch devices ko hi connect kiya jata hai. Isme kisi tarh ka koi Host Computer nahi hota hai

Topology

Advantage

Ek device ko agar kisi dusre device ke sath communicate karna hota hai tab uske pass communicate karne ke liye ek rasta nahi hota hai. Veh kisi bhi raste se communicate kar sakte hai. Kyoki sabhi devices ek dusre ke sath connect hote hai.

Disadvantage

Agar kisi naye computer ko network mai add karna hota hai Aisa karna mushkil hota hai. Kyoki us naye computer ko sabhi computer ke sath connect karna hota hai.

TREE TOPOLOGY

Isko Bus or Star ka combination mana jata hai . Tree Topology mai Devices backbone ke sath bhi connect hote hai. Or sath hi switch ya Hub ke sath bhi connect hote hai.

Isme switch ya Hub to backbone cable ke sath connect hote hai or devices switch ya hub ke sath connect hote hai.

Isliye ise Bus or Star Topology ka combination kaha jata hai. Isme hum kisi naye network ko bhi add kar sakte hai.

Topology

Advantage

  • Agar isme kisi tarah ki problem ati hai tab use asani se dhunda ja sakta hai.
  • Ek network device ke kharb hone se kisi dusre network par kisi tarah ka koi effect nahi padta hai

Disadvantage

  • Agar Backbone cable kharab ho jati hai tab pura network down ho jata hai.
  • Ise manage karna mushkil hota hai. Kyoki inme sabhi devices ko ek dusre se communicate karvana hota hai. Isliye ise manage karna thoda mushkil hota hai.

HYBRID TOPOLOGY

Hybrid Topology ko sabhi ka combination kaha jata hai. Kyoki sabhi ka use kiya jata hai. Jaha do se jada topology ka ik sath use kiya jata hai. Use Hybrid Topology kaha jata hai

Is trh ki Topology ko manage karna bahut hi mushkil hota hai. Kyoki alag alag tarah ki cables or devices ka isme use kiya jata hai.

Is Topology mai sabhi devices ek dusre se connect hote hai. Agar kisi tarah ki problem ati hai tab use dhundhna bahut hi mushkil ho jata hai.
