COMPUTER MEMORY do types ki hoti hai. Volatile Memory or Non-Volatile Memory Volatile Memory veh hai jisme DATA Temporary STORE rehta hai. Tab tak jab tak power milti hai. Jaise RAM Non-Volatile Memory veh Memory hoti hai. Jisme DATA Permanent store rehta hai jaise Hard Disk

Physical memory

Physical Memory COMPUTER mai ki gayi Total Memory ko kaha jata hai. Jaise maan lijiye apke COMPUTER mai 2 RAM hai or dono 2 GB ki hai tab Total 4 GB RAM hoti hai. Isi 4 GB RAM ko Physical Memory kaha jata hai

RAM Computer Memory

RAM ka pura naam Random Access Memory hota hai. Apke through di gayi input Computer Processor tak or baki ke sabhi Hardware Parts tak RAM ki vajah se jata hai. 

RAM mai DATA tab taj STORE rehta hai. Jab tak apke COMPUTER ko Electricity mil rahi hoti hai. RAM ek Temporary Storage COMPUTER MEMORY hai

ROM ka pura naam Read Only Memory hota hai. Yeh ek tarah ki COMPUTER MEMORY hai. ROM mai DATA Electricity nahi milne par bhi STORE rehta hai. Yeh ek Permanent Storage Device hai. ROM ko Non-Volatile Memory bhi kaha jata hai

PROM

PROM ka pura naam Programable Read Only Memory hota hai. Kisi bhi ROM ko Program karne ke liye Programmer Device ki jarurt hoti hai. PROM chips ko (OTP) ON Time Programable chips bhi kaha jata hai isme ek hi bar programming ki ja sakti hai

EPROM

Iska pura naam Erasable Programable Read only Memory hota hai. EPROM mai Programming ko bar bar kiya ja sakta hai.

Ultra Voilet (UV) rays ka use karke EPROM mai se Program ko remove kiya jata hai or kisi new Program ko Programmer Device se install kiya jata hai. Jaise BIOS mai kiya jata hai

EEPROM/Flash MEMORY

Iska pura naam Electrical Erasable Programable Read only Memory hota hai. Hybrid Memory bhi kaha jata hai. Kyoki yeh DATA ko Read and write RAM ki tarah karti hai.

DATA ko manage Manage ROM ki tarah karti hai. Ise RAM or ROM ka combinantion mana jata hai. EEPROM se Program ko remove karne ke liye Electrical Signals ka use hota hai.

Flash Memory

Yeh Memory ek high density device hai. Yeh bhi ek tarah ki COMPUTER MEMORY hai yeh ek Non-volatile Memory hai.

Flash Memory ko hum USB Flash drive ya Pen drive bhi kehte hai. Flash memory mai Read and write ki speed fast hoti hai. Aisa isliye hota hai kyoki Flash Memory mai DATA write Chunks or blocks mai kiya jata hai.

Ek block ka size 256 bytes se lekar 16 KB tak ka ho sakta hai. Flash drive ne aaj ke time mai Portable Hard Disk ki jagah bhi le li hai. Kyoki jitna space ek Hard Disk mai milta hai utna hi space ek Flash drive mai bhi mil jata hai

Cache Memory

Cache Memory bahut hi Fast Memory mani jati hai. Yeh Memory processor or RAM ke bich mai hoti hai. Cache Memory ka storage space bahut kam hota hai. Lekin phir bhi yeh bahut teji se kaam karti hai.

Chaliye ise example ke through smjhte hai. Jaise maan lijiye apne COMPUTER par browser mai kisi website ko pahli bar open kiya hai or jab aap usi Website ko dubara se Open karege.

Veh jada speed se khulti hai. Aisa isliye hota hai kyoki apki Instruction cache Memory mai STORE ho jati hai. Or CPU ko Processing karne ke liye RAM tak nahi jana padta hai.

Cache Memory se hi apki pahle di gayi kisi bhi tarah ki Instruction ko dubara se open kar deta hai. Yeh 3 types ke hoti hai jinke bare mai apko pahle bata diya gaya hai.

Types of RAM

RAM ke two types hote hai static RAM or dynamic RAM chaliye iske bare mai detail mai jante hai

STATIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (SRAM)

SRAM semiconductor memory hoti hai. SRAM mai DATA tab tak STORE rehta hai. Jab tak use Power supply milti hai. Power nahi milne par SRAM se DATA destroy ho jata hai.

Ek Memory cell mai 6 transistors hote hai. SRAM ki DATA ko access karne ki Speed jada hoti hai. Sabhi tarh ki Cache memory SRAM mai hi gini jati hai. SRAM Cache Memory ki speed  jaise hi kaam karti hai

DYNAMIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY  (DRAM)

DRAM mai power off hone ke bad DATA 4 milliseconds tak STORE rehta hai. DRAM mai DATA memory Cells mai STORE rehta hai or ek Memory cell mai transistors or capacitors dono hote hai. Yeh cells rows or columns mai hote hai DRAM ka price SRAM se low hota hai.

Iska pura naam Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory hota hai. SDRAM ki speed FSB ki speed par depend hoti hai SDRAM teji se kaam karti hai SRAM or DRAM se .

SDRAM ki DATA transfer speed ko nanoseconds ya megahertz mai measure kiya jata hai SDRAM mai 168 Pins hoti hai or yeh 3.3 Voltage par kaam karti hai

RDRAM 

Iska pura naam Rambus Dynamic Random Access Memory hota hai. RDRAM ki DATA transfer ki speed 800 MHz tak ki ho sakti hai. RDRAM mai 160 ya 184 pins hoti hai or yeh 300-400 MHz par apna kaam karti hai

DDR-SDRAM

DDR-SDRAM ka pura naam DOUBLE DATA RATE- Synchronous DRAM hota hai. Apne jadatar DDR RAM ka hi naam suna hoga DDR1, DDR2,DDR3. Kyoki aaj ke time mai yahi 3 type ki RAM ka jada use kiya jata hai

DDR3 RAM har tarah ke kaam ke liye achi mani jati hai. Kyoki DDR3 RAM ki DATA transfer speed bhi achi mani jati hai or yeh kafii teji se apna kam karti hai. Lekin aaj ke time mai DDR1, DDR2, DDR3 or DDR4 RAM ka use kiya jata hai.

DDR Rams

DDR1 mai 164 pins hoti hai hum pins or voltage ki help se yeh pata kar sakte hai. RAM DDR1 hai ya DDR2 ya DDR3 hai.  DDR1 RAM  2.5 voltage par kaam karti hai. Yeh Voltage RAM slot par apko milti hai 

DDR2 RAM ki DATA Transfer speed 266 MHz se lekar 400 MHz tak ki ho sakti hai. Is RAM mai 240 Pins hoti hai DDR2 RAM ko Double Data Rate kaha jata hai

DDR2 RAM 1.8 voltage par kaam karti hai. Is RAM mi speed DDR1 se jada hoti hai. DDR2 ki DATA Transfer speed 533 MHz se lekar 800 MHz tak ki ho sakti hai. DDR1 or DDR2 dono tarah ki RAM mai kisi tarah ka Thermal sensor ka use nahi kiya gaya hai

DDR3 RAM mai bhi 240 Pins hoti hai. DDR3 RAM 1.5 voltage par kaam karti hai. Agar apka COMPUTER RAM nahi use karta hai tab RAM SLOT par sahi Voltage nahi ban rahe hote hai

Jab tak Voltage RAM ko nahi milte hai. Veh apna kaam nahi karti hai. DDR3  ki DATA transfer ki speed 1066 MHz se lekar 1866 MHz tak ki ho sakti hai. Is RAM mai thermal sensor ka use kiya jata hai. DDR3 RAM high Graphics or High softwares ka use karne ke liye use ki jati hai

RAM is ok or not?

Agar apke COMPUTER MEMORY ki RAM kharab ho gayi hai. Yeh apko apka COMPUTER hi bata deta hai. Aisa nahi hai ki aap use thik kar sakte hai.

Lekin kuch Beep ki avaj ke through itna smjh sakte hai ki apke COMPUTER ki RAM mai kya Problem hai. Chaliye in beeps ke bare mai jante hai.

1 Long Beep  – Shows the COMPUTER MEMORY Problem

one Long Beep and 2 short Beeps beeps- signifies failure of the DRAM parity

1 Long Beep and  3 short Beeps – Signifies video error

Continues Beep – signifies failure in memory or video memory

1 Beep tone – Indicates the faliure in refreshing the DRAM

2 Beep tone – Indicates the faliure in DRAM parity

3 Beep tone – Indicates the faliure in Base 64k RAM

8 Beep Tone – Indicates the error in the read and write procedure of the display memory

9 Beep tone – Indicates the error in the checksum of the ROM BIOS

11 Beep tone – Indicates the error in the cache memory

Continuous Beep tone – Indicates the faliure in memory or video memory

Main umeed karta hu ki apko COMPUTER MEMORY ke bare mai ache se pata chal gaya hoga. Yeh bhi pata chal gya hoga ki RAM kya hai or RAM ke types kitne hai hum jante hai.
